Business Metrics
The greater the proportion of women on a board, the higher the likelihood of superior financial performance. A 2023 study by McKinsey & Company reveals that companies with over 30% women on their boards achieve a remarkable 48% higher profitability compared to their peers.
But the reality is that female representation remains underrepresented on corporate boards.
Board Representation
-
Women hold only 29% of public corporate board seats in the U.S.
-
Only 17% of private company board seats are held by women.
-
Companies with 30%+ women on boards see 48% higher profitability.

Our Journey and What Sets Us Apart
For aspiring female leaders within one to five years of their first board role, Boardvance offers an all-inclusive, tailored pathway to board directorship, different from what other organizations provide.
Boardvance was founded to bridge the gap many qualified women face during the critical period before landing their first board seat. Our innovative ecosystem offers holistic support through our proprietary Navigator Mastermind program and curated alliances, as well as targeted mentorship and networking opportunities via Inner Circle alumni groups, Inside the Boardroom events, and executive roundtable sessions.
Taken together, the Boardvance ecosystem provides members an excellent opportunity to learn, network, and collaborate while forming strong connections in small group settings. This continuous cycle only ends after a member finally lands a board seat. Once seated, members will continue to serve as role models and mentors to those who are still on their pathway to the boardroom.
